Linear Variable Differential Transducer

An LVDT, or Linear Variable Differential Transducer,manufactured by Rajvi Instruments is an electro mechanical sensor used to measure linear displacement (position). It is a type of inductive transducer that converts the linear position of a movable core into an electrical signal that can be interpreted by measurement


How LVDT Works:

Structure: An LVDT consists of a primary winding and two secondary windings wound around a cylindrical form. A movable ferromagnetic core (the armature) is positioned inside the cylindrical form and can slide back and forth.
